What is EMMA?

The East of England Multimedia Alliance is your link to the multimedia and ICT sectors in the East of England.

EMMA has a membership of over 400 companies, and has links with regional, national and international projects that are relevant for the digital media sector.

The EMMA project team are here to promote the use of digital media and of companies that provide multimedia and ICT products, services and solutions.

- Priority booking and free entrance to EMMA events throughout the year and reduced prices for training.

What can EMMA do for you?
If your company works in multimedia or ICT, or you are hoping to get into that field, joining EMMA will mean that your business can benefit from a range of business and technical assistance, from information on business support available, to events specifically for digital media SMEs.

Finding a supplier
If you are interested in using multimedia or ICT in your business please get in touch. We can give you some initial guidance on how digital media services could help your company, and we can then put you in touch with an East of England multimedia or ICT company that could deliver your project. Workshops and seminars
We have organised several regional events to address the needs of members, often in collaboration with regional and county-based partners such as Business Link.

Sourcing of funds
Assistance to companies requiring capital for start-ups and exhibition costs.

Support at local and international exhibitions
EMMA works to take companies to international exhibitions such as Milia 2003 in Cannes, France, as part of a regional delegation.

Online skills and service brokerage
Check out the EMMA website for the 'supplier finder', which is designed to put your company's capabilities at the customer's fingertips. The website is the gateway to members' websites and a source of information for potential customers.

Online jobs, news and events
The EMMA site also includes a free job advertisement section and relevant digital media events and news.

Regional support and industry focused research
We are in regular contact with several regional business agencies and organisations to ensure that the needs of the sector are well represented.

Innovation and Technology Transfer
We work to facilitate and encourage the transfer of technology and know-how between our members and the region’s universities and colleges.
